I was jsut looking at the pix and on the engine it says "VVEL" Is this the same thing as the Neo VVL in the SR20VE engines where it switches to the high side of the cam at a certain RPM ?

Actually it's different in that it can vary cam timing AND lift infinitely. This will allow them to control airflow by changing the valve events rather than using a throttle body. We'll update everyone with specifics when we have them.

Edit: I thought I was posting in the G Forum. I found this page that explains it a little better.
