Hi guys,

I got a g37s, and I am planning to lower it but the thing is, I read and hear that i need to get a Rear chamber, also ive heard that i need a Rear toe arm.. Well my concern is.. its only for rear and im wondering if i lower the car, will the front need to be adjusted too by buyin another part.. just curious and need some info, ima probably go wit the eibach sportlines wit the rear chamber by eibach too.. i just need clearification of this.

Thank you-Rudy T. Ipekcian

The problem is that when you lower the car, the camber (vertical angle of the wheel) changes. The Gs already have pretty aggressive camber settings which leads to premature tire wear. Lowering the car will just add to that problem IF you don't put the camber back within specs. If I were to lower my G, I would get adjustable camber arms for both the front and rear. I'm not sure why they mentioned rear toe arms though. I don't see how you lowering the car will affect the toe.

Depending how far you lower the car, it may not be necessary to get camber arms. I lowered my car about 1.2-1.4" and got it back to specs except for 1 wheel. 20k miles on a set of summer tires and no adverse effects.
