In a few months, I'll proably need new tires. My stock tires are pretty good, but what are my other options?Michelin Pilot Sports PS2?Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3?

I'm looking for as good, or better handling with a longer treadlife.

Thanks.

Okay, did some research on this forum and I think I'm going to go with the GS-D3's.

I read alot of threads and I guess I should have done the resaerch first. Chalk it up to a Newbie (I joined today). But, feel free to offer any opinions.

Next question:

On the highway, I have to fight to keep my car in a straight line. The steering is very twitchy. Is this because I need new tires? Its got 16,000 miles on it.

Thanks.

I have an 05 G35 sport with 19's on it which is probably what you ahve. I replaced the Potenza's on the rear twice before i had to replace the front, although i really ran them down. I put on Kuhmo Ecsta last summer. I'm no professional, but i can't tell any difference in performance. The tread is much deeper, but i ahven't had them on long enough to tell if they'll run longer. Plus side is they're about $100 cheaper per tire on tirerack.com. Only thing i don't like about them is that the sidewalls are straight and dont have that slight bulge like the potenza's do.
