Tire recommendations for a 2012 G37 Sedan. Looking for something with less road noise... currently have Dunlop SP Sport Maxx.

I'm really happy with the Hankook Ventus S1 Noble 2. I put a set on my 2011 sedan a year and a half ago and have been pleased by the wet & dry handling, relatively low noise and braking. Tire Rack had then at a reasonable price too.

For all-season I like either the ContiExtreme DWS or the Michelin A/S. For performance the Michelin Pilot Super Sports can't be beat.

Brand new member!Just replaced my 2011 G37S 6MT OE Bridgestone Potenza tires with Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3 tires. The Bridgestones had a rough/stiff ride but were crisp in the handling and road feel was much more evident, somewhat noisy but tolerable. I am not pleased with the Michelins for one specific reason: I have lost the "feel" of the road and the steering response is no longer "crisp". Having said that I have to admit the the handling, i.e. road grip, seems to be significantly better than the Bridgestones and the ride is significantly better also. That being said, the Michelins make the car feel like a Lexus, so if you want a softer comfortable ride, with outstanding handling, Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3 are great. If you want a crisp responsive handling and are willing to sacrifice the ride comfort, the Bridgestones were better. One downside to the Bridgestones was wear...25k miles
Tire dealer is exchanging my Michelins for Bridgestones Potenza RE050A OE tires, Can anyone give me info about getting Michelin Pilot SUPER Sport tires instead of the Bridgestones? I really miss the crispness of the steering and wonder if the Super Sport will have that over the regular Pilot Sport. Thanks...

Discount Tire claims that their DWS replacement (built just for them) has stiffer sidewalls than the DWS but has the same A/S performance.
That's what I went with on my Coupe. Had the DWS on the 08 G35X sedan and they did good. Didn't do as good in the snow as the A/S non speed rated Coopers, but did better in the twisties.
Always some trade offs.

I have the Hankook Ventus S1 Noble 2 on my car, they're a fantastic tire for the money. I had the continental DWS on another car, and honestly the hankooks are just as good. I'm about half way through their life (i think I've got about 20k miles on them) and they still handle great and are VERY quiet. Even for an all season they handle very well, not as sticky as a summer tire but pretty dang good.

I ended up buying them because at the time they were like 60% of the cost of the Continental DWS, on my last car I got about 35k out of the Continentals (and toward the end they were starting to get scary), so even if I 20k out of the hankooks before I had to replace them, I was still winning.
