I previously had a G35 but now own a G37. I feel that G37's gear shifts are sluggish. I have to press the accelerator much more than the G35 to feel the torque. Is this normal? Also, it feels that turning into a corner shifts down the gear because I feel the car braking being in low gear. Is this normal?

If you are in DS mode when turning into a corner the transmission will try and shift into a lower gear. They do at times feel sluggish when going slow but are sure not when getting on it. The G37 does much better than the G35s that I have and both mine have the 5AT.

I have not driven a G37 with the 7AT so I'm not sure what difference they have.

Just to be sure I would take it in as there is an update for the transmission that affects how it shifts.
