I am looking to buy a G37 coupe. I would like to know...since they all have a screen... can I add a factory navigation (perhaps with a CD) to a car that didn't have one? :chuckle: or :tisk:

You can add the factory navigation. Might be costly though. Look around on ebay for the entire unit.

Honestly I don't believe anyone has successfully added NAV to a non-Nav car. Best bet is to buy a coupe that has Nav.

It has been done, but you will not get the complete stock feel out of it. A dealer in Minnesota did one and in order for it to work properly a switch has to be flipped to use the nav. I dont know much more than that though. Sorry

yeah better off buying a stane alone gps, and getting it installed cleanly without wires...

nav equiped cars have a different steering wheel controls too, so its just not the headunit you are replacing. so itll cost you about the save as buying the car with a factory nav installed.
