meh, not really. i think applying tint is 10x's more difficult. tint wont stretch, and is really fussy.
this stuff stretches very easily with a heat gun.

1. remove & clean part.
2. i cut about half an inch wider than the part im wrapping.
3. lay vinyl film over the part
4. apply heat gun gently to get the material warm and it start doing the wrapping for you.
5. the center melts and wraps it self.
6. stretch sides over the part
7. on creases & corners, have a razor handy to make slits and neat corners
DONE :)

practice makes perfect. its pretty easy, and straight forward. i would suggest really washing your hands well prior to use, because that heat gun or hair driver will make you sweat out anything you have on your hands. sweaty hot hands becomes a pain in the anus lol
