I'm guessing at least a few of us should have experienced snow fall the last day or so. Has anyone driven in the snow with your G37? If so did you have any trouble? Details please like :

How many inches of snow: How fast / rpm did you go:Did you get stuck/skid? : Highway or local? :What kind of tires? All 4 tires or just back ? :

The G37 is comes with summer only tires. They are worthless in snow and ice. Either spend the big bucks for real winter tires (e.g. Bridgestone Blizzaks from TireRack) or park it unless the roads are dry.

Im not disagreeing or anything, but we had a bit of snow here in Texas (oddly enough) over Thanksgiving and it drove fine. Like 3-5 inches of snow, stock tires, all types of driving, fine at all speeds....but I was still scared of hurting the car, so I took it really easy.

I've driven in slushy roads with no problem, but like everyone else is saying i took it extremely easy.

It probably makes good sense buying the snow tires as mentioned above. The last thing I want to happen is go somewhere, have a major storm hit and feel completely stranded.

the g37 with the sport package has summer tires but if you don't have the sport package it comes with all seasons, i have the summer tires on mine but i will be putting on the blizzaks this week beacause they ar called summer performance tires for a reason. i drove in the snow with summer tires before with my other car and it sucked. won't be taking any chances with this car for sure.

For those of you that have never owned a G coupe or have the summer tires. Please take my advice.

If you have summer tires only... either put decent winter tires on like Blizzaks or park it ASAP

I also HIGHLY recommend you always drive with your VDC on in the snow (unless it's playtime in an empty parking lot) The VDC WILL SAVE YOUR BUTT in many unforseen situations... trust me! Unless your stuck, then you need to turn it off.

Drive safe out there... we enjoy having you here at NICO!

Living here in the Philadelphia area, we get about 20 inches of snow each Winter. On December 1st, I put on Blizzak LM-25's on new ASA JH8 19" wheels (black, 5 point star design with polished lip) on my black G37S six speed. I chose to go with 235/50s all around. By keeping the original wheels and tires mounted, balanced and ready to go - I will swap them out when the season changes. Changes the look of the car so it stays newer longer....besides, I would have to buy tires again anyway. The Bizzaks just give you so much confidence.

Case in point....We had about a two inch snow storm 4 days later that came late in the afternoon, making the side streets especially slippery due to the snow being packed down. I made it home fine (but I did grow up in the Boston area). When I get home, my wife tells me that she had very little control with her 2006 BMW X-3 (also Sport with 6 speed). This thing has full time all wheel drive, anti-lock brakes, and vehicle stability control. I took it out for an errand and quckly proceeded to slide it sideways into a curb. $5,700 in damage without hitting a body panel.

It turns out that although the Bridgestone Scorpion high performance all-season radials looked like they had decent tread left, they apparently don't do such a great job with 28,000 miles in any type of frozen weather.

So I think I really helped Spencer at Tirerack have a great Christmas this year after $2,500 in wheels and tires in the past month....not to mention the $500 deductible...right before Christmas....can you say OUCH!

I put Blizzaks on my G37S too. Last week we got 6" of snow. My car handled very well. That's not to say that I didn't drive with additional caution but I was able to navigate the roads with no difficulty whatsoever.
