I'm torn. They are very throaty, which I love. But there is a hint of ricer in there as well.

No offense. I'm trying to find a set of pipes I like, so I'm being critical.

I got stuck behind a Subaru with test pipes on my way home today. He must have thought he was the fastest car on the road, between red lights, going down hill. All I could think of was his fuel needle on a southward move, while I coasted inbetween the lights, then blew past him on the highway on ramp. Take THAT stinky testpiper!

sneak also take to not that in real life it will probably sound alot deeper because the camera's mic cant pick up some frequencies. I think that it sounds pretty good.

Not so much the pitch of the sound that I consider ricer, but more the consistency of it. I'm probably just weird.

I live in Jersey, and I have a feeling this is the ricer capitol of the freakin world. I can tell one's going down the road, not by how deep or high the sound is, but that the sound doesn't fade and then build with RPM's.

To me, a ricer sound is constant. It stays the same level. Lower RPM's are deeper, but at the same annoying volume as the upper kazoo like frequency.

A higher end car should be deeper AND quieter at lower RPM's, and the opposite at high. It should build, like a symphony of a$$ kicking.

But thats just my 37 cents. (stupid inflation)

You also have to take into fact that he is not driving. Just revving the engine sitting in N, i bet it sound fairly good in gear....... Unless its and autotragic @ 37 cents, our dollar is worth nothing anymore.

Can you go get some hi-flow cats so we don't all die a day quicker because of your unburnt gas and excess pollutants?

Nice sound. Not my style, but nice. I heard one yesterday, but I wasn't in my coupe to go follow the guy.

Yes thank you it does sound way better in real life. No hint of rice at all in person. Yes it is a 6MT and not an autotragic. Its so deep and bassy I love it.

Seriously SBD... what's gotten into you lately? You need to go get a Blowjob or something to ease that tension. I don't know what's been urking you lately, but the negativity is getting old man. Bad Juju dude...

Hope you get that BJ soon so you can actually enjoy contributing to the site and not just get honked off at every thread that comes around.

This has been the general view towards illegal mods for quite some time. I could care less if you don't like what I said.

Plus, I thought they sounded nice. Go somebody else.

Sounds good. I like it. I noticed wwen taping the sound of my exhaust, that I got much better sound, keeping the camera about 15-20 feet back. When it was too close, it cut ouut a lot of the sound. You also know that they will get a little bit louder and deeper sounding after a few weeks of driving. The tone of my exhaust got deeper, and a little bit louder, after it was heated up (really hot). After a few spirited runs in the car, it smelled like a dead hooker, then all the crap burned out. Hasn't smelled since, and sounds great.

I also don't give two s**ts about the fact that you run test pipes. You could "jake brake" it straight into the atmosphere for all I care. If a commercial airliner spews more pollutants in one trip across the country, than all of our cars will spew without any emissions in 5 years, go whine at Delta/American/Southwest. I don't want to hear it. There are enough tree hugging grommets around here, and I have heard it all.
