G37 exhaust pipe!!!

does the exhaust muffler of the g37 fits on the altima coupe 3.5?maan, that exhaust sounds lovely. also where you guys get all these body kits, LED lights and etc...?i cant find much!i did found the stillen roof spoiler and the lip for the back, but does anyone know how much is it to paint and install it? one of my friends said that may not be worthed because may be a lot more then what i pay for my stillen parts.

we have all had the same ideas. its been discussed already. turns out its all in the design of the engine, headers, intake so forth. if you really want it, u need to get a G/Z

ooh..by the way...i forgot.so in order for mine car to sound something alike, i would need to get an intake?so...any suggestion? os- i would rather get a cold air intake...the ones that go down, being placed in front of the tire or some where below/under the engine. i was told you get a better performance with that kind, which makes sense to me, cuz you get all the cold air coming to the car.

By your last post, I'm going to assume that you're fairly new to Nissans. "G" refers to the Infinity G-series, and "Z" is of course the infamous Nissan sports car...they both share the VQ35 engine (as well as the Nissan Maxima, Nissan Quest, Nissan Murano, and Infinity FX35).

He was referring to a nissan Z (ie: 300z, 350z 370z, etc) or a Infinity G (ie: G35, G37)

you have got to be kidding me..if he doesnt know what a G or Z means how are we supposed to beleive he beat two g37s? for all we know it was probably a honda civic with that knowledge..and seriously, try to use this little thing called google to find mods for your car before asking on here, or read the stickeys like stated before..it takes only a few seconds..is it just me or can anyone NOT take this guy serious at all?

i wouldnt exactly say that.... wasn't th G37 supposed to do a 13.9 or 13.8? ive gotten a 13.9 with my 3.5se CVT.... so if someone had an intake, pulley, exhaust (which many members do) then the G37 wouldnt s*** on the A/C, it would be a good race and would all depend on the drivers of both cars...... but stock for stock, either the G37 was really a G35 or the G37 wasnt really racing, or the G37 driver was the worst driver in the world.... or of course, if the story was bs.

lol dont trip.... i remember my first couple posts.... ppl were talking about racing and i said what kind of cars i beat and everyone was on my a** talkin s***... later it was proven that all those cars could be beaten lol but dont worry about it, sometimes the tone of someones voice can not be heard so it may look like someone is saying something a certain way when theyre really saying it another way.... or maybe theyre having a bad day..... but in this case, idk... that did seem kinda mean lol

so how did the race go? how close was it? do you have a 6 speed or CVT?

I got a CVT. First one was with traffic, cutting people off and all. Pretty exciting, with my brother in the passanger seat scream "watch out" lol. We went two blocks and I had him, he even congratulated me "good s*^% man. Good s%#*"

Second time was a straight up highway. We were spreading, so he went in front of me and put the blinkers. I said "hell no" to myself in the car and we started going at it....down shifted to 3rd gear, stepped all the at and began switching gears...we went in about a mile kid. I had him about half car man. He took the exit and putted the piece sign up. It was hot kid

and also just the way you said it u know wat i mean.....its a g dont knock it just because you can "beat it" i mean those cars are sexy as hell and i know u said that but when ur in traffic its all the driver literally especially in nyc i know lol ive beaten a g35 in traffic and i have a 2.5 but i dont count it i just have more balls thats all. Thereas alot of people on here in ny we have alot of meets and mad people by u if we post a meet come out to it ull see are cars in person and can ask ?'s and see it. Makes it nice......also if the driver of the g in the second race was either mad s***ty or sumtin idk i still dont think it can happen but you can prove me wrong wen i invite you to a g35nyc meet at some point bc i know if i showed themn this thread they would flip lol just pay attention to any posts on meets theres one comin up a bbq but i wont b there but others will so come out

ooh, no worries kid. no worries at all man. like one of the members said it. i came off kind strong too, so i apologize for that and my weak knowledge on this thing here. ha.but trust me, aint so hard to beat him though, if they miss a gear, not confident, no good on the steering, and etc...but pretty much if they step and just go...eehh, i think they could beat us no problem. but idk bout you guys, but everytime i race, i put on CVT and i feel like i have a bit more control of my car, i feel like i can get more out of it too. i love that CVT feature.maan, im just so in love with my altima coupe, that i wouldnt trade for no car as of right now. i just love it so much and wanna get so much out of it.

well, the transmission is always cvt. you're talking about the triptronic/ sportstronic/ manumatic mode. right?

you are sort of on the right track, CVT is the type of transmission but the manual feature that you switch over from D is manual mode, which i guess is what nissan refers to it as. i have a 2.5s CVT but i love the manual mode, a lot more responsive than D and gives you a lil sporty/racing feel

i just checked up on this thread and geez it got a lil off track with the drama. oh well at least you are learnin a bit and that i could at least help a bit. i think some1 took care of you as far as intakes. i don't know if they have cold air intakes yet but i've heard something about some1 having one. not sure.
