Hi Everyone...

I am in the process of purchasing my first Infiniti which happens to be a G37. The biggest issue I have is that the dealers I have spoken too are unwilling to discount the cars much off the MSRP. The best I have been able to do thus far is $1500 off the sticker price. Is this normal for the infiniti dealers or am I truly getting the run around. I expected better discounts from the dealerships in the Jan/Feb timeframe. I would apprecaite hearing from current owners regarding their purchasing experience. Thanks in advance.

Try working with an Internet Sales manager. First find all the infiniti dealers that are within driving distance your willing to drive using the internet, type state, infiniti in google. Use the net to surf their inventory and see if you can find the specs your looking for, then there's usually a place to request a quote. It helps to be talking about a specific car they have the opportunity to get off their lot. Move on to the next dealer if you can't get the price, then negotiate and compete them against each other. There's a thread on here with what foks have paid to give you an idea of what would be a good deal.

Thanks for the great advice. I managed to seal a deal today with more then 3000 off the sticker price. Now i just have to be patient enough to await the car's arrival (on the boat from japan as we speak). Black on black journey with Sport package, premium package, spoiler, illuminated kick plates, splash guards, trunk liner, cargo net etc....

If your company you work for is on the VPP list, that will get you the best discount. You can use this link to check: http://insidenissan.programhq.com/ba_search.psp

Sorry for the late reply. I dealt with Pfeiffer Infiniti of Ann Arbour (internet sales manager). The deal was negotiated over email and was a very satisfactory experience. Let me know if you have additional questions... I am more then happy to discuss my experience in more details.

Do NOT bargain from MSRP down; but from dealer invoice UP!!

See my response to "andeker" in "room in a G-37". Take no BS from any dealer!!
