Apparently, for $800, you can buy a sport Muffler for your coupe, and it not be aftermarket. Its direct from Infiniti. No clue as to what it sounds like, but it looks like this:

Wished there was a direct G35 Nismo one. Of course I wish it were cheap as well.

Is that dual tipped?

I wonder what if any the gains are over the standard one?

Becki If you want one, I'll hook you up. But You'll have to come visit....Its actually pretty cheap, as far as mark up. Its only marked up $100 from dealer cost, but probably to be competitive, since most quality exhausts are like $1200 or so... Oh, and its developed by NISMO, just not for a Z. Its specific to the G.

Cause the sedan is already fast enough. This is marketed to coupe owners who grow weary of seeing the sedans rear bumper

If there is one thing I dislike about the coupe its the ugly grey muffler hanging down its rear end. This looks cool, but it will have to have some hp gains to make worth the $800.

He didnt have enough mods

I bet there is very little gain in HP from that sport muffler. Probably just the sound. You pay for the NISMO name mostly.

yup. Test drive a new G37....wow! The sport model can definitely carve, the tires could be better though. I just miss the sound of my old G (inside and out)

There's nothing for the sedan yet. Though Stillens' exhaust sounds very nice. I'm guessing this muffler is only 3 or 4 hp, and solely due to less backpressure. Still, it would be nice for someone to get it just to know what it sounds like.
