2010 Infiniti G37 CoupeFor the 2009 model year, the G37 Coupe lineup expanded with the addition of a new G37x Coupe AWD model featuring Infiniti’s “intelligent” ATTESA E-TS® all-wheel drive system. For 2010, the major enhancements are found inside the seductively styled G Coupe body – with revised colors and model/option package content.

The 2010 G Coupe is available in four models – G37 Coupe, G37 Coupe Journey, G37S Coupe Sport 6MT and G37x Coupe AWD. Every G37 Coupe comes equipped with a standard 3.7-liter VQ-series V6 with VVEL (for Variable Valve Event and Lift) rated at 330 horsepower and 270 lb-ft of torque.

The engine is backed by a choice of an electronically controlled 7-speed automatic transmission with available magnesium paddle shifters or a responsive 6-speed manual transmission.

The G37 Coupe’s advanced platform and chassis also includes an available 4-Wheel Active Steer system (4WAS), which helps improve vehicle handling performance by adjusting both the front steering gear ratios and the rear suspension geometry according to steering input and vehicle speed. I've seen these and made me wonder how it will look like. New front and rear also fog light separated from the headlight. New interior.

I need pictures argh.

Nissan looks like listening to the boards. People were complaining about why no rain sensors, different grills, fog lights, etc. And all here on the list.

Now we need the DI and the 350hp engine. Hope that's for next year.

No fog lights for the sport ?

Blacked out headlights? HMMMMMM

The G most likely wont get that until the 2012 model year. The 350hp DI motor will unveil on the M for 2011 but the G and FX will get them for 2012. I am super excited.

The XM changes sound interesting, although the speed reminders may not keep up based on my experience with the nav version being so far out of date as delivered.

Not sure about the white gauges. I like the white gauges in my 300 m but they are electro luminance which I find easy on the eyes at night. What I would like to see is a combination of electronic gauges with mechanical types of needles (stepper motor). That way one could change the gauge resolution etc. changing from kph to mph or scales with simple selections from a setup screen. You could even have a gauge or two that was customer selectable. Build a electronic set into the center display as well.

* Standard 8-way power-adjustable passenger seat and one-touch auto up/down rear windows on Base model* HomeLink® Universal Transceiver, Bluetooth® Hands-free Phone System and automatic anti-glare rearview mirror added to the Journey model* Heated seats and heated outside mirrors added to the Journey model* RearView Monitor now standard on the Journey model

This is a lot of stuff to add to base/journey model, I bet starting price will hit $35K.

I'm loving my 08 Journey non-premium (no sunroof). No annoying gadgets for me!!!

I would like a G37X 6MT coupe. So far, the manual transmission has not been available with all wheel drive. The combination would really let you put the power down on exit from corners.

Some of the things in the 2010 sound like they could be software upgrades. Like the Zagat XM stuff, and maybe (optimistically) the Bluetooth AD2P Stuff.. A lot of times manufacturers use chips that have the capabilities, but still release only a subset of the features without taking advantage of all the capabilities of the chip (I'm looking at you Apple).. Gives them room to upgrade later, while still getting the product out on a timeline.

So my Q is.. I just bought a 2009 G37x.. Anyone had any experience with taking your car in and getting some of the software features upgraded?
