g35x vs m35x also ipod issue

ok so on my trip back from nyc i was racing a g35x not sure of the year. while racing he beat me about 5 times i wanted to know does driving on the taptronic help or is the g35 just faster.

also next question does anyone have a ipod problem with the factory ipod wire. My ipod never can stay charged

I would have posted those questions in separate threads, but anyway... What are the specs for your ipod? Are you sure it's a factory cable or is it a third party knock off?

it's a 3rd gen ipod classic and i'm pretty sure it's the factory but i can double check
