I have a question for you guys. I know someone who recently got a G35 and he claims that it's an "x", but the badges just say G35. I know that I've seen G35x badges before, so did he get ripped off, or maybe he's lying, or do some of them not have the "x" on the badge?

Umm, thanks I guess. But perhaps you forgot to read my post. I was wondering if the badging on the G35x always says "G35x" or if there were some that just have the "G35" badge, but are still the x model?

It is badged G35x. But you could take that off real easy. Is it a 4 door sedan w/ AWD?

Yes, it's a 4 Door sedan. Not sure if it has AWD. He claims that it's an x, but the badges just don't say it. I think he either got screwed and didn't know, or just wants people to think it's an x.

It should be badged as a G35x on the rear trunk lid.

Couldn't you just check if it really was a G35x by looking for the "Snow" button on the dash? (to the right of the steering wheel) Or, just check for the "AWD" light in the instrument panel when the engine starts up.
