decided to paint the stock 17s graphite and tint the lights a bit to go with the black car and tinted windows.

stock wheels look awesome in graphite imo- and i kind of like the look of not going large

anyways, so now it really needs to get lowered-

what's my best route? I'm really not trying to go low, just get it to a "normal" sedan type height. Can i run some stock 2wd springs? (well from my research i def. can) but the question is will they work with my current shocks etc.. I understand that lowering the car 3" or whatever it would be if i threw some 2wd spec lowering springs on it will make my stock shocks and suspension alignment basically a pita- but with just the stock 2wd springs would it be alright?

Interesting, on installing 2wd springs,, no one has done it, or i have not heard of it,, maybe it would not be low enough? I have heard and saw on the "other board" that Impul springs really look the best for us X cars, nice even drop, and only around and inch... thinking about this myself,, but i like fast int. exhaust too!! good luck,

3" is a HUGE drop. The RWD springs should be fine on your X. The cars are all pretty balanced front to back. I'd just make sure the RWD springs can handle the extra weight of the G35X.
