G35x dead instrument panel but dummy lights flash

2008 G35x

Jumped car to start and now instrument panel doesn’t want to light up but the dummy lights also blink and so do the push start button and lights on the ac/heater panel blink what can be the cause for this?

Sounds like either a very bad battery connection, or you may have blown a fusible link during the jump.
