G35x 2007 love the car, but when i give it gas to quicky acceleratethe car revs quickly then abruptly takes off. I would expect a smoother experience.

Is this the norm for g35x 2007 or is there something i can do to fix it?

dunno man I love it as it is. It takes time to get used to it. Even if I drive my other car for a bit say a day or 2 then go back to my G. Even the brake is that way too. responsive. But as I said love it from a-z.

I love the car too, but considering it's a 'luxury sports' sedan - I think the throttle tip-in should be a little smoother - if I wanted something raw and abrubt I'd buy a Mustang GT. Since it's a throttle-by-wire setup, you'd think they'd be able to pretty easily program the abrutpness out of it.

It is probably TCS. If you pound the pedal its most likely trying to avoid breaking the wheels free, its a "safety" feature.
