Looking for some track wheels... this is probably a rather "obvious" a thought, but was just curious, as I don't know the exact wheel specs for both cars off hand...

Thanks

I don't think the 19's are a good choice. They are relativly heavy and a bit narrow...plus expensive. Gwoods uses a set of Ford Mustang rims for his track days...

Thanks, I tried searching, but searches never like TLAs... =/ Too short to search

Thought this comment was strange...

There is only ~12-13mm difference from the G37S 19s to the G35c 19s... Doesn't seem "that" aggressive to me...

Well I've already tracked on my stock G37S 19s... just don't want to cause my daily driving tires to prematurely expire...

I believe the G37 19's areF 19x8.5 +43R 19x9.0 +45

and the G35C's areF 19x8.0 +30R 19x8.5 +33

If that's the case, the G35 coupe (Forged Rays) 19's should work, but IMHO, you'd be better off finding some 350Z 6 spoke forged 18's (same widths/offsets) and you could spend more $$$ on tires.

There's also a staggered (18F/19R) forged offering that came on the 350Z, that would work nice. Though tires to support the 19x10 rear could get expensive.

I would go with 17's or 18's for the track... Plus tires are much cheaper for them... 17's are really the way to go with little side wall!

Wait.. You have the S right? so you have to go with 18's as the 17's won't fit over the brakes! I think you will have to look and check the clearance. But I think 17's are the smallest that a g35 can go so i don't think they will work on a G37S! and the old G35c with the Brembo's Need 18's as well!

Im sure someone will be able to help!

True... I've found a set of 19s with 17k mile old tires (getting low) for $600 picked up in good shape... normally I can't find the wheels for that cheap... and 350Z track wheels normally go for more than that as well... just debating...

Yeah, I have a few restrictions due to brakes... must be 18" plus, and all... I'm not looking to "race race", just doing some various DE days at the local track... factory tires held up fine (I was fastest in the group, aside from an STI that day)... just want to make sure the offset will clear ok, but by my estimates, I'll actually have "more" front room for the brakes (granted I'm not actually calculating the spokes, just from center offset) than the original wheels... differences are fairly small... =/

I know that the G37 brakes will not fit on a G35 due to wheel clearance. Not sure if G35 19's will fit on your car....
