g35 wont start

when the keyless entry ignition switch is pressed, the starter appears to work but the engine wont start. any quick tips. battery is okay. tried without and with hitting gas pedal. thanks

Appears to work? Is the engine turning over.

I ask because recently mine has been acting a little strange (08 35 XS). In my case a couple of times it appears that the starter will initially react and then nothing happens after that.

I am thinking it may have something to do with the brakes. I state this because if I retry it and hit the brakes a couple of times it seems to take off.

Problem is that it is not consistant enough for me to simply take it in and say 'fix it'. I still may take it in to see if there is something easy to find like a loose connection, etc. but I have a feeling it will have to present itself a little bit more to make it easier to find.
