Well I discovered something interesting today about the winshield wipers on my G35 that I thought I would pass along. While at the dealer I purchased new inserts for $7.48 each as my original wipers are 2 years old. There is no need to purchase the complete wiper from a auto parts store that is going to cost you more than the factory rubber inserts. After purchasing the inserts from parts service will install the inserts for you for free. If you tell service to replace your wipers parts while your vehicle is there for something else parts charges them more & you'll pay more. The service guy actually showed me how to do it. it is very simple & takes less than 5 minutes. 1- Lift up the wiper arm on the drivers side. Press the plastic tab to release the wiper & remove from the arm. Gently place the metal arm back against the winshield so the spring loaded arm does not spring back & slam into the winshield.2-You will notice that one end of the wiper blade has a notch. Pull the wiper towards you pulling on the notch end until the rubber blade slides out.3- Remove the two plastic tabs on the new blade and carefully slide in the new rubber blade into the wiper blade holder. Reinsert into the wiper arm.

4- Repeat steps 1,2,3 for the passenger side.

Infiniti service will show you & let you do it while they guide you as long as you have the original factory blades.

Good info telcobrother

I am so happy with my blade. 14 months and no issue. 2 winters and the summer and it works great as it was at day 1.

I have a really good relationship with my service department they give me good deals and help the time when needed.

zozo my friend

you are one of the few that appears to understand my thinking

I get great service also. The money I save whiles doing my own simple maintenance makes using the dealer for other services worthwhile. The service guy even told me that when I need oil filters they could drop them off at my house if I didn't want to make the 50 mile round trip. How about those apples for service.

I also agree with staying on good terms with your dealership!!It has worked for me! Discount coupons, discounts on parts.

I did buy my last set of wipers (anco) for less than $5 each from walleyworld. I've been very pleased with the brand.

On occasion I've bought pizza for the service dept staff--- huge pay-offs in the long run. In Rio, Pizza is not as common as in the US, so it becomes a specialty dish.
