g35 windshield wiper free play

The Mrs. made the mistake of switching on the wipers when it was frozen (sound like to g50 thread) but intead of them being mis aligned they have about 3 inches of free travel almost like a spline gear was sheared. Any way to take out the slop? it's an 03 G35 sedan

Ohhhh nooooo... That sucks. There is no way to fix it that I know of. I did the same in a Ford truck, and it was done. I had to replace the motors. -sorry-
