I am having a problem with the passenger side window, if you put the key in the lock to unlock the doors both windows will go down. When you lock the doors both windows go up, when you open the passenger door the window go down 1/2 an inch upon closing the window seals, however the window does not operate by either driver or passenger door switch. Has any one have any thoughts on this problem?

Hmm, you sure you have a G35? They weren't around in 2001.

They do automatically go down/up when opening/closing the doors. That's supposed to happen so it doesn't get caught. I'm not sure if that's what you're talking about or not. As for the switches inside not working, check your fuses and connections on that window motor.

Someone told me that they took the window motor apart and cleaned it. That fixed the problem for 2+ years. I'm going to try that with mine cause mines just went bad tody.

It is partially true.

Sometimes after taking it apart and cleaning it would help. Mostly for short run. It will come back. It is either your motor needs to be replaced or the regulator. I think it was Rich who had the switch go bad also.

Good luck with it.

Mine driver's side would go up, then come down about 1/6th of the way.I used the RESET BUTTON via the FSM. Requires taking the door panel off.Would try this for any window problem first, since it's ez.

For some reason I was remembering wrong. Not a first time. LOL

I thought you had problem with the switch and either had to clean it or replace it. LOL Can't remember everything. I guess I am getting older.

Sometimes it works. Mostly it comes back after short period of time. Glad it worked for you. Hope it will work for more people.
