I will be looking at them used, no time line yet.

The easy answer is buy what you can afford. But that does not mean it's always the best value (car).

I know the G37 have a 7 spd and more power.

What else? Meaning is there anything else that set them apart?

Will I really noticed more power and 7 spd?

I'm willing to "pay more" if the G37 is "better." But why pay more when the G35 "does the same thing?"

Aside from being a "newer" car, will the average guy noticed anything different, where it would justify cost a few thousand more?

I personally like the front end and the spoilers on the G35, but since I bought my car when I did I had to get a G37 to get a new one.

I don't know if the Music Box is available in a G35, but that is one of my favorite parts of my car. I like the horsepower too since I will probably never mod the car mechanically.

Are you looking at the sedans? From your post I say yes. You should ask yourself why are you interested to buy a G. Performance, look, gasmilage, etc.

37 gets better mpg looks same and feels same. Maybe little faster. Cost more.

The biggest factors separating the G35 from the G37 are that the G37 gets improved in these areas:1-Power, so the car is definitely faster with an extra 22hp2-Economy and acceleration from the 7 speed auto over the 5 speed3-Refinement, as the G37 was upgraded and refined for 2009 over the 2008 and 2007 modelsThere were also a few new little features added to the car that I could go into detail with, but its best to drive the car yourself first.

Yes. Sedan. If I really ask myself that question, the answer would be "No G." Just like the look and sound of the car. And the brand image. Honest answer.

An Accord or Altima is what I should really be looking at, to answer the question.

go altima!!!!

if i had never driven the altima 3.5SE i probably wouldnt have brought a g35x sedan... cause then i was interested in the nissian brands.

but i will upgrade to a g37 first chance i get...

IMO infiniti g37 came real close to acura with technology incorperated into the car's interior space. that was the one thing i wish the 2003-2006 g35 had... it got better with the 2007-2008 g35. but the g37 shines now in the technology goodie department... to me thats worth the upgrade by it self.

amoung the obvious bigger more powerful engine, with better gas milage... not too many engines get bigger and still have better fuel economy

Well the 37 and 35 looks same and sounds same to me. I think if you save good $ on the 35 go for it. If not much of a difference than take the 37 and enjoy the beter gasmilage and more ponies.
