Do you have a pic of what this 180sx looks like?? :gotme
I'm guessing the 180sx is lighter and since it has more hp, thenn......wait...... you didn't say 1/4 mile or 1/8 mile or track????
So, the SCed 2011 mustang 5.0 wins by default!!! (or until a clarification is made).

True depends on what the race is.

Since I'm assuming the 400hp SR has a big turbo on it, then the lag will hurt from a standing start. Tires on each car may make the biggest difference though.

Still think my AT G35 is slightly faster than my KA-T S13 that has a little more hp (20-30). Mostly due to shifting, no traction in 1st with boost, lag, etc.

The G35 wins due to it's looks compared to the 180sx. I'd take a bone stock G35 over a modified SX any day of the week.

You never asked what format the two cars were competing in...

OK, so I finally googled this 180sx car.....
looks like the 91 240SX SE hatchback that I still kick myself for selling! :frown:

So, was this available only outside of the US ?? I always liked the pop up lights. :gapteeth:

ooooh, that reminds me I there is what looks to be a 91ish 240sxse just around the corner for sale and looks to be unmolested by ricers! must go check it out...

Thanks for the info! Didn't care for the 240's after 93.

So, the 91 240 around the corner is an auction car that has a salvage title due to impact in rear bumper/hatch area (which hasn't been fixed). it is a running 5 speed w/208K and they are asking $2k....don't have the time for a project car.

That's too much for a salvaged title damaged S13 anyway.

Yes it is $2K is way to much.
