G35 vs 06 eclipse

My friend has an orange 2006 eclipse and i'm about to get a grey g35 coupe. What do u guys think is better looks wise and if they were to race??

The G35 is a much more refined car...sexy lines, MUCH better powerplant, and definitly worth more. You should have no problem waxing your friend. Do some simple air intake mods first...sounds better than stock! Welcome!

The New eclipses look great. But you will defintely turn more heads in the G. It just has a much more refined look. I'm guessing Mitsu was seeking a portion of the Z crowd with the Eclipse - though at a more affordable pricepoint. The power appears pretty good, and perfroamce should be pretty good, but not quite as good or as refined as a Z or G. It should be fairly sporty, but the FWD layout probably made it harder for Mitsu to tune the handling as well as they or even we might like. I'd love to see if they comout with the Ralliart proto that they had which essentially had the EVO's drivetrain.

Looks wise, I like the looks of the G35 much better. Don't care for the new look so much. Looks unfinished to me.... I've driven several of the previous body style eclipse's and they were nice. I don't like the front pillars on the new body style. Felt they were in my view... Didn't like the pillars on the new Civic SI either. Oh, and like the previous post - take it to the track!

The G35 is just a sexy car! You will always turn more heads in a G than in a Eclipse. Plus, within a year those Eclipses will be everywhere! Everybody will have them, just like the older gens. The G is much more of a luxury sports car and most people cannot afford them so it good for us, G owners! Makes them still a rare car, especially the 6TM Coupes!

And if you don't smoke him with a G, I am gonna have to come and show you how to drive that thing!
