All depends on the turbo setup. Turbo setup depends on the powerband and use of the car.

Most guys will not go over 8 lbs of boost on a stock block. Unless you build the motor the stock connecting rods are max out around 400 whp. Although some have driven safely on more HP that is the common breaking point.

Now lets say im interested in spending less than 5000 on it , may i ask why this link at the bottom is so cheap ? Do i need to buy more parts to that or is it just adding pressure towards the BOV .

Because that is turbo housings only...you need the "guts" and all the connecting pipes, not to mention the intercooler, fuel system work and tuning. With turbo kits, you pay for the R 'n D that goes into the development of the kits. To do a turbo right, you'll need look at spending about 8k (10k for twin).

If you only have 5k to work with, I would go with a supercharger. Vortech makes a decent one for both the new G37 and the older G35's.

If you're not mechanically inclined, I'd have a shop install and tune it.
