Hey. Just wondering if anyone has a fave tire for the '04 G35x sedan. On the second set of the same type as original equipment, and they seem not to wear real well. Need to pony up for some more but wondering if I should try something different. Thoughts? Thanks for any advice.

I've used Yokohama S-Drives and Toyo T1R Proxies on my G35. Not sure if I want to go with them again...looking to go cheaper because I plan on trading/selling my car.

Depends on where you live as well. I'm running ContiExtreme DWS on both cars now.

How do you like the DWS on the sedan??
Also looking to replace the A/S tires on our G35X with something....
considering yoko envigors, yoko YK580, and DWS.
Haven't been overly impressed with the DWS on the coupe on dry pavement.....seems to do fine in wet and ok in snow.

They seem to do fine on dry pavement but do not have the grip of the Hankook V12's I had on the coupe. They do have more grip than the Hankook V4's I previously had on the sedan.

I don't have many miles with them on my coupe yet but the other day I was in 2nd gear manual mode and able to get TC to flash doing 30mph or so. The DWS are a 540-ish so they are harder than the V12's which were in the 200 range. I plan on getting some aftermarket wheels and summer tires this spring so the DWS will end up being delegated to winter only.
