I just bought a new 2007 G35 and I really didn't get the sound system that I wanted (long story). Now I am faced with removing the stereo that is installed so that I can add an IPod adapter amongst other things.

I would like some advice on removal of the stereo. I believe that the center console has to be removed first and then there are two screws for the radio. Before I try to start ripping it apart, I would like to have advice on removal of the center console and the stereo from someone who has done it and is wiser than me.

I apologize if this question has been posted before. I looked but couldn't find it.

Thanks

Just be careful...There's lots of tabs that can be broken. If you have a 6MT, start by removing the shifter housing (It just lifts up).

You may want to ask in this forum as well..zeroforum/99
