G35 Spoiler With or Without Brake Light

just got mines without brake light not too long ago. just wondering how you all did install? i wanna make sure i measure it perfectly but the kit did not come with any kind of template to use for the installation. does anyone have any tips as to how to measure and install the spoiler evenly?

Who makes it? Can you post up pics of the spoiler of underneath? Does it have bolts sticking out of it or does it have holes where the bolts would go into?

well i got it off ebay... looks like it's made in malaysia, has holes where the bolts would go like so:

Looks just like the one I got. Did it come with some templates to locate the holes on the trunk? They look like long thin pieces of thick paper with a hole in the middle. You take them gently onto the underside of the spoiler so that the holes in the paper line up with the holes in the spoiler. The position the spoiler on the trunk where you want it, tape the paper firmly to the trunk, then lift off the spolier, leaving the paper still attached to the trunk with the holes indicating where to drill.

The only difficulty I had was that the holes ended up in the support ribs for the trunk, so I had to drill them out a bit larger to get the washer and bolt through. Once you drill the metal, put a bit of paint or rustproofing on there, especially underneath cause the water does run under the spoiler a bit.

I had that difficulty also. The way around that is to get set of uni-bits and use them to enlarge the hole enough so you can slip a socket in there and tighten down the bolt.

I have G35 w/ the brake light. The look of the wing w/ or w/o the light doesn't make a big difference if the car is just sitting there during the day. But at night when u hit the brakes, it def adds a little something w/ the extra brake light.

I dont like the g35 replica wing...

I dont like any of them actually, but if i had to pick, id probably just go with the stillen rear window wing.

If I had to pick one of these g35 wings.... id def get it WITH the LED, and then disconnect/remove the 3rd interior light.

So like seriously guys...where do you buy the G35 spoiler WITHOUT the light?I've already found like 3 sites through google that offers to paint to match my car color, but they all have the light installed.

Thats a big negative there cheif! I went through all the ebay s*** yesterday before i posted and all they offer is the g35 wing with the light.
