I like the G35 Bose Sound system, but i want more bump in the trunk. Does anyone have any suggestions. I was thinking 2 ten's in an enclosure, or a custom box

This is highly dependent upon what you like.

If you like the BOSE system, then I think you will be satisfied with almost any subs out there.

How much bass do you really want? Most people will be satisfied with one 10 or 12". I have 2 12" subs in my trunk because I love loud and clean stereos.

The trunk on the coupe is kinda limited in space

I can't imagine the trunk being much different...

I have 2 12" Hexagon Xtant Subs..together in a ported custom enclosure

Again, it boils down to what you want.

If you buy a good 12" sub and a good amp, you can save some space and its enough bass for most people....just not for me!

It sounds like you just want a little more clean bass, nothing ear shattering correct? Two tens in a sealed enclosures will provide a good bit more thump and clean bass. Still if cranked could rattle your teeth. Personally I recommend Rockford Fosgate. Great quality speakers/subs. If your gonna buy them though get them offline, stores are much more expensive normally. try http://www.onlinecarstereo.com they normally have the best deals and great shipping.

If you like hard rock and/or hip hop/rap, you'll want one or two subs in a ported enclosure in order to get the boomy bass. If you're more into classical and jazz, you'll probably only want one sub in a sealed enclosure. The Bose system is very well known to be lacking in bass, and Bose systems in all cars sound like crap to be completely honest. If you don't want to do subs and retain your trunk space, I would simply say replace the factory speakers--I think that will impress you a lot as well as you'll benefit with better highs and lows.

I have a JL 10W6 in a closed box w/ a JL 500/1 amp pushing it, and a JL bass knob to control the level of bass depening on the song. I usually keep the BOSE bass level at -2 and I still get plenty of bump and sounds great!!!!
