Hey guys,

greetings from Scotland!

Im looking to buy an aftermarket speedometer for my 350gt (G35 to you guys), anyone know if theres anywhere that sells them off the shelf, or will I have to modify one myself? Also, anyone know if a g35 speedo will be a straight swap for a 350gt? I need read out in mph, my car is imported from japan so has kph.

Thanks

Welcome! Very beautiful country you come from, was over there a few years ago in Edinburgh and the surrounding area. Last month I found out I'm Scottish, wish I woulda known that earlier.

Anyhow, to your question. I'm not exactly sure but I'm sure if you looked hard enough you could find one. Someone who knows for sure and knows where to point you will answer you for sure within a day or two.

I'm 99% sure a G35 speedo will not fit a 350GT as G35's are RHD and therefor the dash/cluster would be back to front and the wrong mould. BUT, I could be wrong.

You can get a RHD NISMO ones from here;http://www.japanparts.com/db/p...ll=10

Good to see another RHD owner on here.

Greetings to you from Rio de Jeneiro! On your question, EBAY has been good to me, but another avenue has been salvage yards:

Most salvage yards do not list on EBAY or other on-line auctions. Over the years I've replaced 2 engines, 1 transmission, doors, windshields and various other odds and ends. Cheap way to go especially if you know how to install yourself. Good luck!

That NISMO speedo looks pretty sweet but I dont have nav, doh! Also, if I change my speedo will the mileage change? I've seen a few posts on here saying it does, and some saying it doesnt!

My skylines almost standard, but sweet anyway!

Here's a couple of pics:

Well she gets washed once a week, only gets taken out of the garage on weekends and the interior is pretty much so perfect.

BUT, I am looking at selling her at the end of 2008/early 2009, and will either get a late model G35 or maybe a G37. I just don't want to have to part with the exhaust, its the tastiest one ever.

I have a speedo that will fit, currently reads in mph. If you would like to contact me, we could also arrange for a trade for your jdm speedo.

The milage does not change with the speedo replacement. The milage ir controled by the cars computer.

the lighting in that picture and the wheels just set it off. there are a lot of g35's that look great on this forum, but yours just looks classy. simple and perfect. whoever buys your car is going to be one happy camper.
