I have a 2003 g35 coupe, it was rear ended 3 months ago, didnt trip any airbags etc. just finished putting it back together. It ran for a solid like 2 minutes then shuts off and it won't start again, it just cranks, the fuel pump kicks on etc. idk, no check engine light or anything, while it was sitting it had I battery in it, so I wanna say it's the nats system? But I only have one key for it so idk how I would go about fixing that. Any idea on what else it could be and how to fix it?

I timed to exactly 1 minute 38 seconds each interval. And it only work every 2 hours. It isn't my cas, so what could it be? Does it sound like the nats system?

Welcome to NICO

In order for an internal combustion to function you need:
1- Air
2- Fuel
3- Spark

If I had to make a guess I would guess your problem is :

2- Fuel or the lack of it

Try a fuel pump pressure test as I suspect the fuel pump has a malfunction or a poor electrical connection.

Since you were rear ended and the fuel pump and its associated electrical connections are in the rear the problem may be there?

Do a search on this site for your FSM and follow the troubleshooting steps.

Has fuel, 40 Ish psi, it's like it's on a timer for 1 min 38 seconds
