I've tried searching the forum and can't find this specific thread. I would like to hear from g35 Sedan owners only. Which brand and model of tire are you using that you are happy with? I'm looking for performance tires only, not all season/winter tires. I currently have BFG KDW2 and they are very noisy. The tire place is going to let me exchange them for something else, and I don't want to trust their online ratings again. I have 18" wheels and want a good dry and wet performance tire that is not noisy like a truck tire. I don't care if they don't last a long time. 15-20K is fine. Thank you for your help!UPDATE: I traded in the BFGs and got Dunlop Sport Maxx. So far, they are quieter and feel like the have a stiffer sidewall, so the handling is crisper.

On my M45, I use Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3 in a 245/45-18 100W size and load index that should also fit your wheel (since you mentioned 18", I assumed that you have at least 7.5" wide wheels). I have the same tire on my wife's Acura 2.2CL, although a smaller diameter and width, of course.

To date, I have 40k to 45k miles of experience with this tire on two cars and like it a lot.

That, and the Michelin Pilot PS2, are two excellent tires for wet and dry conditions, with decent-to-good road noise control too. Performance tires will not be as quiet as "Grand Touring" tires, but will perform a lot[/] better!

I run Potenza RE750's on my cobra and have been very pleased.

As for my G, I'm going to be putting yoko avids all seasons on it, so you probably wouldn't be interested in those.
