I'm only guessing here, but I'd say if it was manufactured in the last 6 months of that years cycle then it would be a .5. You would need to check your plate for date of manufacture. Could be wrong, but thats my guess, they don't sell cars as .5's.

I don't know if a 2004.5 was made.
I think from what I have heard around here that they (infiniti) made a 2003.5 That corrected any problems that was from the first 2003's that were released in 2002.
I Think the way you can tell the first ones that where out was that ugly trunk lid with the handle and the small (Infiniti) Logo!
but I could be wrong.
I am still wondering what sedans came with that ugly trunk lid?

Thanks to "Dan in St Louis" over at infinitihelp, I learned how to tell if you have a 2004.5:
According to page GI-48 (General Information) of the 2004.5 Service Manual, you have a 2004.5 if your VIN is on or after JNKCV51E*4M600001 or JNKCV51F*4FM700001.
