g35 sedan exhaust/coupe exhaust

I know there is a pipe difference between the two. my buddy has an 05 sedan and i told that he can get the coupe sound if he changes a pipe. wut is the name of the pipe an how much will it cost? i searched and only 1 result came back and it was useless. thanks

The pip is the mid-pipe. But on the 05-06 sedans, it won't make that much difference in sound as it does on the 03-04 sedan. There should be some weight savings though, which is beneficial as well.

I recently did the swap on a 05 Sedan. A little more sounds - which I did like!! Seemed to improve my mpg by 1Here is a pic of both

The pipe did rub the cross-brace under the driveshaft, so I removed it.Others have bent it.

um...the coupe pipe was on the 05 Sedan that I traded for the 04 Coupe.I didn't get a chance to swap it back out for the 05 Sedan pipe.The wife didn't like the extra 'music', and didn't want it on her 05 Sedan.I did get the Z-tube & K&N out of the traded 05 Sedan at the dealership....in the rain....at 930PM...
