Hello,

I just purchased a used G35 Sedan 03 model. After driving for about 45 min with just the radio on. The recirculate air button began to blink the unit went to 90 degrees and would not turn off. The radio cut off and would not power back on. Several times I restarted the car with no fix. Hours later I went outside and all was normal. Any one have this issue? I have owned the I35, Q45 and never had this issue.

Was an issue on the first gen.

Any tips on how to fix it so that it does not happen again?

Replace the radio with aftermarket, which requires buying a double din kit for the specific model year as seen in link below.
