So the Maxima has a problem with coins and power seats. If change falls out of your pocket, in the Maxima, it usually goes right into the track. I dropped a lot of change out of my pocket yesterday, and it dissapeared under the seat. There is no sign of it. So my question is: does the G35 have a problem with change getting stuck in the track and jamming the seat?

I guess I was lucky so far. I am the guy who drops the changes all the time. I usually go after it right away tho. Maybe because I am cheap.

Yep - Dealer was talking with a guy last week when I was there, they found a bunch of change in his seat tracks.

Looking at the design, I'm guessing it might be a bit of a problem.

I bought a '04 Coupe through a dealer wholesale auction a few months ago. (paid $24k @ 29k miles, loaded except Nav.) When I got around to REALLY digging through the car, I found 5 quarter, 2 dimes, and several pennies in the drivers seat tracks. BUT, they weren't effecting the seat's movement. Maybe I was just lucky?

Dunno if it will jam up, but afraid to take the chance.

ON TOPIC: THis happened to my bro-in-laws maxima. I have feared the same thing happening. His seat is now STUCK and the car is no longer under warranty. Would warranty help with this tho?

OFF TOPIC:

$24K for 29K miles isnt a great deal , esp @ an AUCTION!

I paid $25,500 for my 2004, loaded, everything but NAV, and only 15K MILES!

DAMNIT!This JUST happened to me yesterday!A penny fell out on my right between the seat. So I jury rigged a piece of wire and some packing tape balled up on the end. I had the penny nearly FREE when the seatbelt wire clipped it and POOF now I can't see where the hell it fell. DAAAAAAMN. I was always bad at the game "Operation"...

My next step is to hook up one of those flexi keyboard vacuum nozzles to my shop vac and see if the suction will fish it out from wherever it's hiding...
