G35 RDS radio question

Hi all-

I hope someone can help me with this. I have a 2003 G35 sedan that has the normal factory radio. It is RDS enable and works fine. The radio station scrolls on the screen as well as the name of the song playing on many stations. I bought a 2005 g35 coupe not too long ago and also have the RDS enable. However, the radio station nor the name of the songs appear on the radio screen. Does anyone know what I could be doing wrong?? Thanks in advance!

I have found that not all stations have that information available. That's all I can really think of right now.

On the 2005 coupe it should say RDS in the top left of the screen when on FM radio. To turn on the RDS press and hold down the display button above the radio but below the A/C controls. This should turn it on for you and show the radio stations/ song names.

The FM station must be sending RDS info. My FM radio in my 2006 G35 works fine. It is the Sirius Factory radio that does not scroll

Were you ever able to figure out a way to have the Sirius info scroll...I just purcahsed a 2006 Pathfinder with the factory Sirius radio and I have the same issue with it not scrolling.

Only the FM radio will scroll if the FM station is sending the digital stream.In the NY area Q 104.3 does. I don't listen very often to the FM as I usually am tuned to channel 100. On other music channels on Sirius I found that after you tune in a channel ( Sirius Gold 005 for example) if you press & hold the display button you can get either the song title or the artist to display. For the money that Infinity charges for the factory radio one would expect that the radio would scroll? I also have a $99 Sportster and that scrolls just fine. Go figure
