G35 Questions...
hey guys i am looking to put quite a bit of money into my 04 G35 A/T before i do so im curious about how much horsepower my transmission can hold. im looking for around 400 - 500 hp just curious if it can withstand it.

I usually see "about 450hp" thrown around....

good question! Coming from the Supra world I know that reliably they MKIV Auto transmission cant hold over 450whp. Were as the standard can be up to 1000whp. Anyways I'm wondering if the 450hp mark that you have heard thrown around is for the standard trans? oh and if the 450 hp is whp or at the crank....?

There are a couple of companies who do build kits for the auto trans. Kmech_7 has a supercharged G pushing around 400 rwhp (if memory serves) and has one of the built trans.
