My friend got a used g35 sedan, built in the early 03. He didn't get hids, so I bought a set of hella hids with d2r off ebay and wanted to retrofit.However, his oem low beams are h1, and no matter how I try to position the d2r bulbs, it won't fit the stock housing. ALso his side markers light won't turn on?Is it a fuse or the bulb blew?All I did was take screw it off from the bumper and turn it back on?thanks

They won't fit. You have to disassemble the entire housing and make some modifications to get them to fit and work properly. The side markers sounds like a bulb to me. Very easy to change.
