Tough to say without seeing the car, but according to Edmunds.com, for my area (Eastern PA), $7,500 is approx the retail (dealer) price for a clean one. I think you should be able to knock him down more on the price if he's a private seller.

It's a darn near flawless car, mechanically. The interiors typically don't age well so if it's still nice inside that's a bonus.

Oh and the paint sucks.

Excellent engine and chassis though.

Also: NO HEADROOM. None. I do not fit. Driver seat is height adjustable so I can sort of force it, but the passenger seat is hopeless. I can't imagine being stuck in the back.

I should of but more detail... but he originally wanted 10k for it.
It also has the navigation packages and I'm assuming the bose premium.
link to the car is on craigslist ... https://norfolk.craigslist.org/cto/5575050321.html

It looks pretty clean, hopefully it drives as well as it looks. Fwiw, I believe $10K is the PT Barnum "there's a sucker born every minute" price. Here on planet earth, in my area, it's a $6K-$6500 car. $7500 is a good starting point for a private seller. Since he'd probably get only $5K or so if he traded it in as opposed to selling it, I'd suggest starting down there and negotiate up to $6-6500 or so.

Good luck

A clean manual G35 coupe is definitely rare, but he's smoking something if he thinks it's worth anything near $10K. I'd pay $7,500 if it was perfect, and for the minor flaws he has listed, I'd probably give $7K for it.

WOW. I didn't know Gs were so cheap now-a-days!
Agree with these guys, $7,500 or bust.

For the most part yes, but it's an '06 6MT...that means it has the RevUp VQ and that means a potential oil consumption issue.

Granted, if it was going to be an issue if would have presented itself well before 110k, but the current owner may have been content to just "deal with it". Forewarned is forearmed.

Strongly recommend OP gets a leak down test done if at all possible to check ring seal.
