So I installed the Skunk2 5/8 plenum spacer. Here is the write-up

It is badass. It gave the car even more of a throaty V8ish sound. There is a noticable difference in power. It even is able to be registered on the butt dyno. I got the 5/8 for two reasons, the extra 2 HP and they didn't have the 5/16 in stock at Axiom Motorsports. I am really happy, and feel that it was money WELL spent.

Spacer was $195.+ tax, bought from a local shop. RTV was $7. at Schucks. Everything else was included.

If you look in the pictures, I did remove the oil filler ring, but forgot to add that to the write up. The Permatex is necessary. If you don't use it, you will have a greater potential for "plenum whistle". The key is to not over-do the Permatex. Less is more.

If you are thinking of doing that, just get a 5/8". They are the same price as a 5/16". Then you have less of a chance of an air leak.

BTW, 10/16=5/8
