g35 oil change

my boyfriends being a chauvinistic pig and says girls cant do oil changes. hes going to provide the tools but i have to find out the how to and what i need. so i want to prove him wrong and was hoping someone can let me know exactly what i need to buy, ie how many quarts of oil and what type of filter? and if anyone knows of a website that'll give me a diagram? and if anyone can give me some helpful hints? LOL i know i ask alot. i know i can do it, but just need someone to steer me....

LOL.

#1) Remove plastic skid pad under engine using 10mm socket.

#2) Remove oil plug from oil pan and drain into bucket or similar container.

#3) When oil is slowed to a very slight drip remove oil filter using tool.

#4) Replace oil filter (lube up the edge of the new filter a little with some oil.

#5) Replace oil drain plug.

#6) Add 4 1/2 quarts of oil. Start engine. Let idle for 5-10 sec.

#7) Check Oil level on dipstick. Fill with additional oil to max capacity.

#8) Replace plastic engine cover under car.

Done.

There are many different oils you can use. Most on this board recommend a quality Full Synthetic: Amsoil, Royal Purple, Mobile1.

As for oil filter, you can use a variety also. A lot of people use factory ones from the dealer. Some use high filter quality ones from Mobile 1. Its all subjective.

i made him wear my jeans which were super tight and a spaghetti strap tank top that showed his belly. he'd kill me if i posted pics lol.

BUT I DID IT. THE BOLT TO THE OIL PAN WAS A ***** TO GET OFF, BUT ITS DONE! THANKS TO EVERYONE WHO HELPED OUT!

ok i cant resist posting one. he'd kill me if i showed his face tho, but this should leave little to the imagination. oh and before anyone thinks im as big as my boyfriend, those are old jeans and they were stretched to their limit on him. i had to burst his bubble that hes not a size 6 if he cant wear underwear LMFAO. i cant stop laughing. is it sick, that i love him more today???
