hello everyonei just got a 2003 g35 coupe. but from what ive been reading on other topics, it sounds that the 03 models have a lot of problems? like the radio will die on me, brake dust problems, etc... i bought the car off my mom's friend's friend, and theres been an accident with that car so now it makes me feel even more uneasy. but with 30k miles it seemed too good of a deal to let go. is there anything specific that i should look out for or be careful about?

I wouldn't sweat it. Keep a check on the tires.I hear the auto trannys are rock solid.I assume that it was a minor accident.Welcome, and post pics!

Yes, welcome to NICO, I'm a new 03 G owner too, I have heard that the stock brakes wear kinda fast but I haven't owned it long enough to have an opinion on it. I hear however, that if you have the Brembo brakes on it they last longer. Anyway, I have not been this happy with ANY car I have ever owned before. I plan to do so much to my G and don't expect to sell it any time soon. Well... anyway, welcome again!

I asked the dealer about switching to the brembo brakes recently and it was like $3k.

oh i forgot to add.. i think there is definitely something wrong with my brakes because whenever i come to a complete stop in the morning or whenever i drive after letting the car sit a while it makes a squealing sound. also when my car is rolling (its auto transmission) and i brake for a slow roll it makes this sound....the only way i can describe it is like when you are hungry and your stomach starts growling.... if that helps? and on top of that when im driving over a bumpy road i can hear squeaking sounds.... anyways thx for the help.

+1 I'd try and have the rotors turned before getting new ones.
