I have the factory navigation and when I start up the car, I alwayshave hit "ok" to the startup question to start using the navigation.

I heard there is a hack to do away with this so that navigation just comes on without having to hit "ok"? Anyone know how?

ThanksTom

It's built into the software and is federally mandated as far as I know there is no way to defeat it, there is no setting for anything and even in diagnostic mode it is still required.

There have been a few products that have done this. One of the first I've seen was a device called the Nonag. Not sure if they guy still makes them. I think KPTechnologies makes one now and has some additional functionality as well (Holding down the joystick for a few seconds will activate a ground switch for example). It bypasses the navi disclaimer screen by providing a momentary ground signal to the joystick. I do know different cars use different intervals of time. The Nonag was made specific to each model. Not sure how KP manages this. You do have to access the board and solder a connection with both as far as I know.
