How does the G35 compare with the 350Z as a fun car to drive?

Also, I read in at least one of the consumer guides that the G35's manual transmission "was almost impossible to shift smoothly." Any truth to that? I haven't seen anything in the formums to suggest that.

Not if you know how to drive a stick

Never drove a 350Z but have driven manual shift for 50 years

Before buying my manual transmission G37S, I test drove a manual 2004 and a manual 2007. No problem shifting smoothly in any of them.

I will run circles around most of the 350z's out there in my Manual "four door". ;)
