I have a 05 G35 sedan the car has about 80k on it and has never given me any problems, till now for some reason after I make a turn and I give the car some gas,my RPM'S go high and the car looses power and after a few seconds it goes back to normal. My question is has anyone had this happen or have an idea as to what it may be that is causing this, I'm afraid it might stall out on my at the wrong time or something. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Assume this is an Auto transmission? The transmission may be slipping, transmission flush been done on it before?

Is it an all-wheel drive? Does sound like the transmission is slipping.

It is a automatic and has not had the transmission oil changed, do you think that could be the the reason?

No its a RWD model not all wheel drive.

To me it does not feel like it is the transmission, but I will be more alert tomorrow if it does it.

Hate to say it, but may come down to a new transmission. Maybe others will have experience. Might want to call the dealership and discuss the issue.

I've not had that issue in my G's but had that happen a couple times with my Maxima...transmission flush and synthetic fluid seemed to fix it for the most part. I traded it in at 158k and it was fine.
