so i just installed a jwt popcharger on my 2007 35 coupe 6mt it all went ez only took me 30 min to do everything. i was wondering if theres supposed to be a high pitch noise when i accelerate? its like omost a wistle wind noise and i was just wondering if thats normal mayb its the air sucking it in but alot of you all have the jwt so i figured if it was normal somebody could tell me. thanks!!

That's normal, you'll notice it only does it under certain conditions in a certain RPM range.

is there anything that you need to "cut"? before you put it on? Cuz i heart that for some intake you have to cut it and then put it together with the old intake... something like that... lol is it true?

uhh i dunno if its a woot noise but it sounds like almost a turbo or sumthing when i accelerate it makes a high pitch fssssshh noise.

gwizz it sounds like a dog wistle noise and it happens at about 3000 rpm to about 4500 and then alfter that the deep sound kicks in

It's normal. If you blip the throttle, you'll hear a sucking sound...and it's high-pitched. Personally, I love the sound!

yea joe i love that sound too its almost like a turbo winding up thanx at least i know that its normal and i didnt f up the installation. is there nething else i need to know about it?

it seems mayb that my car is lagging when iam at about 4000 to about 6000 mayb its just my imagination does urs seem that way too? iam pretty sure i did the install perfect the onyl part that was hard was setting up the heat shield wiht the foam pieces

The air intake will only net about 3-4 rwhp...you're probably just expecting a little too much. This mod is more of a sound mod...with a little added HP up top. Get the MREV2 and exhaust mods for more gains.

EVERYONE hates the dreaded JWT heat shield foam!!
