G35 Japanese Speed Restriction

Hi

I live in the United Kingdom and the G35 cars we get over here are Japenese Imports that are restricted to 112 MPH. Everyone tells me that it is currently not possible to remove the restriction on an automatic model.

Does anyone Know if parts from a US G35 will correct this?

It's part of the ECU, so if anyone can retune the ECU they can remove that feature.

I thought it was a feature built into the ECU. Its going to be hard to find someone over here that knows what they are doing on these cars.

try unplugging the speedo sensor and just see if it changes any, that could give you an idea.
